    Angels – PETA’s Animals in Film and Television division is hosting its fourth annual competition in the spirit of the awards season. Oscatswhich honors movies and stars who have promoted animal-kindness with props and wardrobe, storylines and special effects in the past year.

    Each winner will receive a framed certificate, and the complete list, which also includes a tribute to PETA buddy Cloris Leachman, is available here.

    PETA, whose motto is in part that “the animals are not ours to be used for entertainment” – opposes arrogance, a worldview focused on human superiority.
