    Louisville, Kentucky. – See the following statement from PETA Senior Vice President Katie Guillermo regarding the first Kentucky derby in which all horses will run without Lasix:

    While too many horses still suffer and die in the horse racing industry, the first drug-free Kentucky Derby and Triple Crown are an important step forward. Now the race should piss off the dopers. Coaches who violate drug regulations must face more than small fines – their licenses must be permanently revoked.
