Another animal that Pymatuning refused to let PETA find a new home is Bosco, a bear that has been chained to an outdated concrete pit for decades and is now showing signs of arthritis, a condition that also haunted the bear that was chained to him. before her death. The Roadside Zoo received an official warning from the USDA in 2016 for over a dozen violations of federal animal welfare laws, including keeping bears in concrete pits, but refused to end the practice.
