The nomination round ends at 5:00 pm ET on June 2. An open vote to help PETA Kids determine the finalists will begin on June 4 and end at 12 noon ET on June 14. Finalists will be notified and posted on the PETA Kids website by 12 noon. ET June 16th, when public voting begins to help PETA Kids determine the winner and runner-up. Voting for the winner and runner-up ends at 12 noon ET June 25, and children will be notified and posted on the PETA Kids website by 12 noon ET June 29.
When selecting the runner-up finalists and winner, PETA Kids takes into account the following factors: the number of votes received and the participants’ enthusiasm for animal rights.
