PETA Germany burns colonel in Dusseldorf

Whatever PETA does in the US, our colleagues in Germany always feel they should do it better. About a month ago, we patted ourselves on the back after a protest in which we burned an effigy of Colonel Sanders was picked up by the national media. So, in Düsseldorf today, PETA Deutschland, which apparently thought the demonstration was not fun enough for a discerning German public, decided they needed to revive it by bringing a fire-breathing man in a chicken suit with them. If, by some strange coincidence, you land on Germany’s premier television station, RTL TV, you must be glued to your TV tonight to watch exclusive footage. All this is just incredible.
