Ariana Grande has included explicit details about her relationship with her boyfriend Dalton Gomez on her new album, “Positions.”
The 27-year-old pop star and estate agent Gomez have been dating since the start of the year, after being introduced by mutual friends.
In her new album, Grande includes X-rated lyrics about their bedroom antics and all-night romps.
One song, called “34+35,” includes the lyrics: “Can you stay up all night? F*** me till the daylight?”
Another song includes the lyrics: “Watching movies but we ain’t seen a thing tonight… I don’t want to keep you up, but show me can you keep it up? Cos then I’ll have to keep you up.”
In a third verse, she brags: “Got the neighbors yelling ‘Earthquake!’. 1.5 when I make the bed shake.”
Grande also expresses a desire to have children with Gomez on the record, singing: “You might think I’m crazy, the way I’ve been craving. If I put it quite plainly, just give me them babies.”
On another song, called “Nasty,” she tells Gomez: “Promise I’ma give it to you like you’ve never had it, I do it so good. It’s gon’ be hard to break the habit.”
Grande refers to Gomez as “The One” and admits she feared she would be alone forever before he came into her life.
The mood of “Positions” is in stark contrast to Grande’s previous album, “Thank U, Next,” which was released after her engagement to comedian Pete Davidson ended.
Grande and Davidson had a whirlwind romance in 2018, months after the Manchester Arena terrorist attack, which killed 22 people following a Grande concert.
In September 2018, Grande’s ex-partner Mac Miller died of an accidental drug overdose at the age of 27. Shortly after Miller’s death, Grande confirmed that her romance with Davidson was over.
Davidson later spoke about their break-up in an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, saying:
“I pretty much knew it was around about after that. That was really horrible, and I can’t imagine what that s**t is like. All I do know is that she really loved the s**t out of him, and she wasn’t putting on a show or anything. That was fucked up. Prayers to his family and all of his friends.”
