San Francisco – As California prepares to open and many people are about to return to the office, PETA is launching a new ad campaign –to be shown on NBC 11– ask animal caretakers to include their dogs and cats in their return to work plans. The new video, available here, is told from the point of view of the dogs who want to know: “What are your plans for me? “

“When you start spending more time outside the house, it will be a big change for me,” says one dog. “Even the cat is nervous!” The video takes viewers to PETA.org/BackToWork for tips to ease the transition, from long dog walks before and after work, to finding dog kindergartens and keeping cats busy and stimulated when they are alone at home.

“After more than a year of enjoying the family around us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our dogs and cats are bound to be confused when we get back to the office,” says PETA Senior Vice President Daphne Nachminovich. “PSA PETA encourages everyone to help animals move to the ‘new normal’ so they don’t feel lonely and abandoned.”

PETA, whose motto is in part that “animals are not in our hands to be abused in any way,” is opposed to arrogance, a worldview focused on human superiority. For more information please visit PETA.org or subscribe to the group on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram…
